Christmas Dance “Recital”

This was a short “recital” that a couple girls from Felicity’s dance class did at their teacher, Ms. Kim’s Church. Very cute!
The Puppies

Black and Chocolate Lab puppies at the Armstrong’s. Felicity of course wanted to take one home (thanks to Becky’s encouragement).
The kids in Felicity’s 3-yr old preschool class did a short Christmas Program with a couple songs before we all had a little party on their last day of school for the fall semester. I didn’t know there was a song about booger the red nosed reindeer! LOL
I finally got around to posting some pictures and videos from the last couple months…taking advantage of some time off this week. The new photo sets include:

Felicity’s Doodle

Felicity likes to play with my iPhone now and one of her favorite apps is DoodleBuddy. This is her latest creation.
Lil’ Yogis

Becky goes to a yoga class three times a week at the Pointe of Grace dance studio, the same place Felicity goes for her dance class. The other night we had dinner at the place right by the studio and Becky brought her yoga clothes to change into. Nobody else showed for the class, so Ms. Kim (the owner) and Ms. Amy (the teacher) said the girls could stay. Felicity likes to do yoga but Michaela doesn’t have the patience yet. But she did do a few poses with them!
I posted some photos a while ago but I know some people don’t check the photos page, just the home page. Go take a look at August and Felicity’s 4th birthday.
Felicity started pre-school today at our church’s school, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She will go every Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. She was very excited to go and I think that it helped that we went into her classroom last Friday for about an hour and met the teachers and got to play in her classroom. She was hooked! She was very cute today, here are some of the highlights:
* On our way to school she told me “Mommy, if Michaela does anything cute while I am at school make sure you grab the camera and record it so I can see it when I get home.”
* Once at school we put her lunchbox in her cubby and headed into her classroom while holding my hand, but as soon as she walked through that door she squeezed my hand very tight and only let go to give her teacher a hug and find her name tag.
* Michaela seemed a little confused when I put her in her car seat and Felicity wasn’t in hers. She looked back at the school doors and then at me and said “Fa Fi?” (her word for Felicity). Then when I got her up from her nap to go get Felicity, I asked her, “do you wan to go get Felicity?” She got excited and still 1/2 asleep yelled, “FA FI!”
* When I walked into her classroom to pick her up, she saw me, got a big smile on her face and came racing towards me! Too cute!
She had a great day and really likes it. Her teachers Mrs. LaFevre and Mrs. Hoffman, are terrific and you can tell from the instant that you meet them that they love their job and truly love the kids they teach. It is going to be a great year!
