Last night Felicity slept in her own room in her crib for the first time. She had been sleeping in Randy’s grandfather’s cradle in our bedroom for the last six weeks, but she is out growing it. On top of that she makes a lot of noises in her sleep and it was starting to keep mom up at night wondering if she was waking up or not. So we’ve kicked her out! She did really well, we only went in there twice before her middle of the night feeding to help her fall back to sleep. After that feeding she was out for the rest of the night. . . and so was mom!!! She is getting so big.

Felicity is baptized
Oct 28

Last Saturday we had Felicity’s baptism at our parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Deacon Leo performed the ceremony and it was very nice. Felicity did very well during the actual baptism part. Deacon Leo poured water over her head and she just laid there in dad’s arms/hands. No fussing, no crying, just chilling! She did raise her arms out to the side in what looked like a gesture of praise. She is already so spiritual! My sister Margaret was her Godmother and our brother-in-law, Mike was her Godfather. Randy calls them the all star team of Godparents!
After the ceremony we had a party back at our house. It was nice to have everybody over to celebrate this special day.

1 Month Old!
Oct 17
Well, believe it or not, Felicity is 1 month old today. We can’t believe it either. People have always said, where does the time go. We are really starting to understand that statement. She is doing really well. She looks like she is gaining weight and is starting to fill some of her clothes out more. I think she is also gaining some length too! She has a doctor’s appointment at 6 weeks, so we will know more than.
She is starting to be more alert when she is awake now. She looks all over and I am pretty sure she is starting to focus more on things that are a little further away. She is working out her neck muscles when she gets her tummy time, but her head still seems to be a little too heavy for her little neck to support. She is turning her head a lot, both when you are holding her and when she is lying down. Loud noises, like her two doggie sisters fighting, are helping with her neck workouts as she is moving her head in the direction of the noise.
She is starting to settle into a very nice sleeping/eating routine. Her last meal of the day is usually around 9:30 and then she is down for the count until about 2 or 3 where she gets a late night snack and is out again until about 7. We are liking it a lot!
Doggie Momma
Oct 12
Hoover and Kona have been really good with Felicity so far. Kona is starting to feel a little left out, but I don’t think she associates it with the baby. Niether one has done anything that makes us nervous. In fact they both love licking her. Anytime you show Felicity to them or put her down at their level, they both rush over to say hello! Yesterday I put Felicity down in her cradle, which is low enough for her to put her head over the side railing and look down on her sister, and walked away. A few minutes later she started screaming and Hoover ran in to the bedroom a few steps ahead of me, looked in the cradle and begin kissing her sister. In my opinion it was her attempt to try to calm her down. Hoover hates it when anyone is crying. I can’t wait to see what they will do with her when she is old enough to start chasing them!!
The Randy and Becky Post Family has been online for quite a while already thanks to Randy’s interest in web development. We even had a simple text blog for a while back about two years ago. But after getting the idea from our friends, Jennifer and Justin Harvey, we have decided to recreate our Family Blog here at Blogger.com.
This Blog won’t replace our website, currently at http://www.randypost.com/, but it will supplement it with the latest happenings in our family, especially in the life and development of our daughter, Felicity Marie. She was really the driving force behind getting this blog, and we are thrilled to have her in our life, and to share her with the rest of the world!

So link to this blog directly at http://randyandbeckypost.blogspot.com/ or go to “The Posts” page to see the latest blog headlines along with other family related information. We hope you enjoy our Blog, feel free to post your comments!
